New Zealand Wool Rug — Soft Charcoal

from 955.00

Designed in Denmark and produced from premium quality, raw New Zealand Wool, this handwoven, supple rug can enhance any interior.

New Zealand Wool is recognized as the world’s purest and whitest wool and has excellent dyeing characteristics. It is the best suited natural textile for retaining enduring and deep color dyes. Its natural purity and whiteness allow for lighter, more delicate shades and vibrant hues.

New Zealand Wool has long fibers and similarly to Bamboo Fiber, minimizes the occurrence of peeling to almost nothing. The resilience of the fibers reduces flattening and ensures superior durability and easy maintenance.

Additionally, New Zealand wool is naturally hypo-allergenic, and fire resistant helping to create a safe and healthy indoor environment in any space. The source wool used is obtained via animal-friendly methods, making this product sustainable, eco-friendly and biodegradable.

Each rug is unique and entirely handmade, combining centuries-old traditions & techniques, with a contemporary aesthetic sensibility, as well as novel dying methods and textural effects. Design by Massimo Copenhagen.
